- Dutch is the official language, but Curaçaoans also speak English, Spanish and their own unique blend, Papiamento
- Taxi's are easy to recognize by their signs and the TX on their registration plates. The prices are based for 1-4 people from 6 am-11pm.

- Check out the Limbo Bar on Keizerhof and daily from 17.00-23.00 and Tu Tu Tango Bar every Friday 23.00-04.00 no particular themes running, catering for all the gay community!
- If you're feeling lucky, then try your hand in one of ten hotel casinos that are on the island…..

- The Curaçao Museum, which is located in Otrobanda and showcases works of traditional and contemporary artists, is a must see to all who visit.
